And if they won't let you eat cake ...

A great big birthday hug goes out to Granny Gifford! Jack says he can hardly believe she is a year older considering every time he sees her she looks younger and more beautiful.
No really he said that.
In other news...
**We have a TOOTH! Well we have the beginnings of a tooth. One perfectly beautiful (because everything on Jack is perfectly beautiful) pearly white is slowly but surely working it's way out. Tried to get a picture but Jack wasn't having it.
**We have our first cold! Coughing .. sneezing ... perfectly beautiful gunk running out of his perfectly beautiful nose. No pictures. You're welcome.
**We have the beginnings of our second word! Or phrase. Or gutteral sound .. depending on how you look at it. It's "Uh-oh". Usually said right after he's hurled his sippy cup off his high chair tray for the 46th time. Right now Jack's got the "Uh" part down so usually it's "Uh-Uh". But about every fifth time the "oh" gets tagged on the end. And he's still got "da da" nailed.
Kelly: "Jack say Ma Ma."
Jack: "Da Da".
Kelly: "Um, good! Great. Now say Ma ma."
Jack: "Da Da".
Kelly: "No Jack say Ma Ma. MA MA. Mahhhhh Mahhhhh".
Jack: "DAAAA DAAAAA". (With attitude. Not even kidding.)
That's my boy!
It's hard to see -- but the shirt is a present from Jacks Mima and it says "I'm definitely up to something". Mike says I need a shirt like that in my size. (With the way this kid is growing I just might be able to fit into his shirt!)
