So Thankful

A Happy Thanksgiving to you! A wee bit late. These days If I get the post done in the same month the post topic took place I give myself a gold star! Actually I'm not really a gold girl ... perhaps I'll give myself a platinum star. A diamond encrusted platinum star. A diamond encrusted platinum star with emerald accents! Which reminds me ... ten days 'til my birthday, people! Six days 'til my birthweek! Yippee!

Wait what was I ... oh yes, Thanksgiving.

I present to you Jack's second annual Thankful Tree!

This year Jack not only cut out all the leaves for his Thankful Tree all by himself, but also wrote down all the things he's thankful for all by himself! I am assuming you'll be needing some translation. Says Jack:
I am thankful for.....
Me (this one is my fav)
Daddy
Uncle Henry
Mommy
Kate
Santa
Toys
Guns (the toy kind of course)
SpongeBob
The Jetsons

Sorry if you didn't make the tree this year. I will say it was a CLOSE race - but the tree only has so many branches. And hey, who is NOT thankful for The Jetsons?! Better luck next year immediate family.

I am thankful for these two ...

And this guy ...

Mike - not the turkey.

Actually the turkey was delicious so I am thankful for it as well. But way more thankful for Mike.

I am so very blessed.

Thanksgiving day recap coming next ...

Happy Halloween!

Please do NOT PROCEED if you scare easily.

Seriously.

Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you ......

BOO!

Um, I mean moo.

I mean moo boo hoo!

Halloween is fun! She'll learn.

I wanted Jack to be a farmer. How cute, right, a farmer and his little cow? Jack wanted to be a Bakugan dragon. Guess who won?

A close up. His mask stayed on top of his head pretty much the whole night since he couldn't quite see when it was on his face. Wouldn't have had that problem if he was a farmer!

The loot.

Funny thing is Jack doesn't even like candy. Won't touch the stuff. Rumor has it that his dentist is buying back Halloween candy from the kiddos for $1 a pound. Had I known that I'd have had Jack trick or treating all weekend long. Mama needs a new pair of boots!
