On Friday some presents arrived in the mail from Michael Michael. Aunt Stephanie, Evan and Noah. Jack was SO excited that we simply had to let him open them on Saturday - his birthday eve.

The goods:

I may or may not have eaten 75% of that Phillies cookie.
Sunday the 16th (his birthday-day) started out with a trip to Dunkin Donuts for Jack's fa-vo-rite treat, a sugar donut. And for mommy's favorite treat, a large iced coffee with cream and one sweet & low and a bacon and egg croissant NO cheese.

Sorry, Kate, about the food bag in your face.
We gave Jack his choice and told him we could do whatever he wanted to do on his birthday. Of course, he picked trains. So off to Jack's favorite place in the world we went.

We have been there approximately 1352 times before - but it was Kate's first time! Here is how she felt about it.

Interesting.
Of course 5 minutes after we arrived Kate was all "I'm hungry. Wahhh." Babies!

Jack especially loves the outdoor layout ..

And the indoor layout ..

This one is actually located inside a real renovated train car!
After that Jack and Kate watched an "I Love Toy Trains movie" ..

And Jack hung out in a caboose ...

Then it was time to go home. Kate looked like this:

And Jack looked like this:

Once we got home we did "cake" ...

And presents ..

And that brought Jack's birthday-day to an end. Coming up, Jack's birthday party!
Happy birthday to you once again, my sweet little train lover!
