Lesson learned

Lesson learned #221,356 - It's not *that* good of an idea to let a 1 and a half year old pick his own snack out of the pantry without paying VERY close attention to what said 1 and a half year old is doing ......

Check out that sad little face!

I'm not sure what scared him more -- the tidal wave of animal crackers that nearly swept him off his feet OR the tidal wave of knee-slapping, made-diet-sprite-come-out-of-my-nose laughter coming from mama. Seriously it was HIL-arious. Especially when he picked up one of the animal crackers, put it in his mouth, then realized he didn't even like it and spit it right back onto the top of the pile.

Cleaning it up, however, not so hilarious.

Show-off!

Jack insisted I post a video of him doing some letter identification lest you think I am exaggerating about him knowing his letters at such a young age. Such a little show off this kid!

He just gets SO excited when I ask "Do you want to play letters??". He will usually pick up each letter, call out what that letter is, then place it in his little Elmo bucket. He then dumps all the letters out and starts all over again. And did I mention that he can identify EVERY single letter!? EVERY ONE people! I'll try to get some more video of that so I, oops I mean HE, can show off some more. I keep telling him "Nobody likes a braggart!" but he just doesn't listen!

PS: Excuse the outfit. Jack would be devastated if he knew I shared footage of him in such a state of fashion disarray!
