ELEVEN months!!!

Eleven months. Well she was eleven months. About three weeks ago. Now here we are one short week shy of her FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! And by the look on her face it can't come too soon. It would appear that someone is getting a little bit sick of the monthly Tad pictures.

SO.over.it.

These days Kate is loving:

Her brother
Her brother
Her brother

In that order. She calls him Bubba. And when she says it with that sweet little angelic elfin sounding voice - BUH-bahhhhh.... Well, it is is THE ca-utest thing you ever have heard in your life. EVER. I want to record it and make it my cell phone ringtone.

She also loves:

*Her daddy (she calls him papa! But when she says it .. PAH-pahhhhh. SO SO cute. Totally ringtone worthy.)
*Saying PAH-pahhhhh everytime I ask her to say mama
*Broccoli
*Graham Crackers
*Ernie (as in Ernie and Bert. Likes Bert too but no one can make her smile like Ernie can. Well, except for BUH-bahhhhh.)
*Crawling super fast
*Chasing Mima and PoPo's cat
*Singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (I sing - she does the hand motions. Go ahead and say it - GENIUS)
*Doing anything you tell her not to do. (The more No-No-Kates she hears the happier she gets.)

The majority of her time is occupied by hanging out being the cutest almost one year old girl to ever walk the face of the Earth.

As you can see she's been VERY busy.

My funny valentine

Here is my funny valentine. Just look at that little face. She is all "I'm funny how? I mean, funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh... I'm here to BLEEP-ing amuse you?"

Just kidding. She's way laid back - with her mind on her bottles and her bottles on her mind.

JGif, his Valentine surprise, and a mouth full of Reeses peanut butter cups that his Valentine surprise came with.

My little sweetie and his Valentines dinner! Fancy, no?

You are totally dying over the hot dog heart, aren't you?

I tried to get a picture of Belle and her heart shaped cat treat - but no such luck. When a delicious snickity-snack is put in front of her there is no pausing to pose for the camera.

Looky what I got from my true loves ...

And a little somethin' sweet for my big sweetie ...

That little somethin' came with 29 little friends ...

Jack's school Valentine box runneth over ...

The ladies love JGif!

A belated XOXO to you all!

Cousins Visit

So the cousins visited back in - oh -about September. Finally here is a little recap. I can hardly remember yesterday and I'm about to blog about 6 months ago. Should be interesting.

Here are Kate and Noah meeting for the very first time! Totally BFFs right from the start.

Next they both gave me their best "Wha'chu talkin' about Willis" faces.

And then they both did this and made me kind of dizzy.

Really - stare at it for a while. Feeling kind of woozy now, aren't you?

At one point during the weekend I came into the kitchen to find Evan with his back end in the fridge. When questioned about what he was doing he replied "My hiney is hot". THIS, people, is why I always have my camera within arms reach.

In case you can't tell - yes- he even pulled his pants down to expose his adorable little backside!

Michael Michael and Jack played Michael Michael's new board game.

And then Bono showed up.

Next it was time for the ever popular eat-lunch-in-your-pjs.

Followed by Michael Michael finding out what it would be like to have twins.

Noah was all "talk to da hand, pops!".

And then this picture came along and totally took my breath away.

Other things that happened this weekend:
Steph, me, Jack and Evan went to the family fun fair at Jack's School on Friday night
We all went to Jack's TBall game on Saturday morning
Pictures of those events coming soon. If I ever find them.

TEN Months!!

Those of you paying attention will note that I skipped the nine month picture. Good eye! Truth is I have temporarily misplaced the nine month picture. Pretty difficult to misplace a digital file, you say? Not for me, I answer. I can misplace anything. It's one of my many talents.

Anyway - ten months. TEN. 1-0. She's now been on the outside longer then she's been on the inside. She was all "Can I get a high five for 10 months!?"

She is now crawling like she's been doing it all her life. She is also very good at standing. See?

How much do we love the ridiculous pig tail? SO much, right?

She loves pulling herself up on her crib like that and then walking all around it holding on for support. She can also let go and stand all by herself for like, three to five seconds. She's talented - just like her mama.

Another thing she loves? Her brother. More every day. No one can make her smile like this boy can. The other day I was on the phone when she woke up from her nap. I asked Jack to go up to her room for a few minutes and entertain her until I got there. And when I did get there I was soooo happy I had the forethought to bring my camera.

Even blurry they are adorable!

Christmas post one - tree decorating

Be still my beating heart is this little guy ever handsome.

WHY does he look like he's about 15 rather then about 5?

As usual he's doing his thing and she's watching in awe.

And trying to get his attention.

"Look at the camera so she'll go away!" says Jack.

And as usual, cute little baby gets what cute little baby wants.

Because this little face just has "hug me" written alllll over it.

And I'm not quite sure what these faces have written all over them.
